Angel Island State Park

The San Francisco Bay is surely filled with a lot of treasures and Angel Island, is more or less like a jewel in the crown of the city. If you take a ferry from San Francisco, Tiburon or Vallejo, you will get to Angel Island in approximately ten minutes. The State Park at Angel Island is perfect for a short excursion.

Angel Island State Park can serve as the perfect sanctuary, when you feel like getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life. This is the most scenic spot to idle the time away.

It is not a bad idea to take a picnic lunch along. You will also need a light jacket to protect yourself from the cool breezy weather.

From the Angel Island State Park, the nearest restaurant is Sushi Ran, which is three miles away and serves Japanese cuisine. This spot is popular for its top-class sushi. Later, stop by at the Buena Vista Café to enjoy some wonderful cocktails, tasty bar food and charming views of the waterfront.

The Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf and the Best Western Tuscan Inn are two nice hotels in the neighborhood that you may want to try.
