Yerba Buena Center for the Arts

More or less like an arts village, this place has it all: exhibitions, live performances, films, videos and public programs. All the shows and performances depict today's social and cultural landscape. YBCA's theme is the life and arts of our times.

The objective of this theater is to expand and enrich the art and design visual experience. The center keeps putting up alternative themes and styles, in various forms of media. The films and plays focus on current day changes in taste and lifestyles. See edifying, mind enriching videos about the new trends in arts and design and how these trends are incorporated to a literary canvas. YBCA is involved in film screening to promote alternative films and documentaries.

YBCA is a nonprofit multidisciplinary arts organization. The center's state-of-the-art facilities are available to individuals, corporations, associations and nonprofit organizations for a variety of events. All venues are wheelchair accessible. The center is composed of two separate buildings - the Galleries and Forum Building and the Theater. Both buildings have a modern and artsy design and are situated along Third Street between Mission and Howard in downtown San Francisco. The center is close to the Yerba Buena Gardens and Moscone Convention Center.
